A few weeks ago, Go2mobi posted the first of three top campaign management and optimization strategies shared by our team. In this second post, you will learn how you can use your bid to find the best traffic for your campaigns.
- Bid CPM: The bid you are willing to pay per thousand impressions in the auctions entered
- Median Bid CPM: The average bid you are willing to pay per thousand impressions in the auctions entered
- Blacklist / Whitelist: A targeting feature that enables you to either target only the placements you want to target (whitelist), or to ensure that your campaign does not target placements you do not want to target (blacklist).
Open Campaign: A Median Static Bid You Are Willing to Pay
If you have a median bid CPM that you are willing to pay, you can set that bid in the fixed bid CPM field.
As you test traffic with a median bid, you can review the data and optimize different variables to find the traffic that works best for your campaigns.
As you continue to test traffic, we suggest incrementally increasing your bid and continuing to blacklist to focus on and search for traffic that performs best, breaking out the top performing traffic into whitelists to scale.
